Lorne A. Goldberg

WCC is owned and operated by Lorne A. Goldberg. Since founding WCC in 1995, Mr. Goldberg has completed over 40 different transactions totaling in excess of $750 million, including acquisitions, sales, private equity investments, subordinated debt investments and venture capital investments, for small and mid-sized companies. Mr. Goldberg has expertise in a variety of different industries across manufacturing, distribution and services. Prior to founding WCC, Mr. Goldberg served as Vice President of Heitman Financial, one of the largest real estate investment companies in North America.

Currently, Mr. Goldberg owns and operates four restaurant chains, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, Pick Up Stix, Leeann Chin, and Mandarin Express. Mr. Goldberg’s portfolio of fast casual/quick-service Chinese restaurants is the second largest in the U.S.

Previously, Mr. Goldberg was a ranked professional tennis player on the ATP tour. Mr. Goldberg graduated cum laude with a B.A. degree in Finance from Temple University.
